I wear the same hair style every day?

I have been wearing the same hair style since the 5th grade and every one keeps asking me why I wont change it I want to but then I feel like im going to get extra attention that I really dont want my hair style is my hair in a clip

you don't even have to do anything drastic to change your hair. you could experiment, maybe styling it into some loose curls, or just attempt different ways of wearing it up. however, if you don't want to change your hairstyle and you like it how it is, don't listen to what people think and just do what you want!

There are many different things that you can do to give your hair some extra options. If you are happy with the length because you can wear in a clip when you want to then I would suggest some layers all around. I would not suggest that to the point of a shag cut. You could also have it tappered around you face. What that would do is allow you to wear it in a clip but give you some shorter peices of hair in the front that will hang down and frame your face. The end result of tappering would be that it would be different just not drastic. also, you may consider placing some very MILD highlights in the front as to accent your face. Well if you don't want people to say that you went from this to this in one night, change your hair gradually. First take out the clip and wear your hair down. Then after like 2 days, straighten your hair maybe. Then start putting it in a half ponytail...then a full...and so on.

get a bob - cut hair up to shoulders or chin. same length all around--very cute and can look very chic, and very corporate.

If you don't have side bangs, you should get them. especially long ones. hmm... i don't have any pics... but basically any hairstyle can go with blond hair easily. you can also go through magazines and look at your favorite blond actresses/stars that have a hairstyle you like, and bring that to your hairdresser and have them cut it like that for you.

if u have naturaly stright hair then buy a conair crimper and you can crimp about 6 thin peaces of your hair then pull them in a bobby pin and curl the reast of ur hair and leave down thats what i do with my hair

Maybe a little shorter and all choppy looking. Are you looking for a low maintenance type of hair cut but thats still cute? I just cut my hair pretty short . I went from having hair that went almost down to my lower back straight to short. I was such a nice feeling to chop all that weight off and its so much nicer looking for my face shape : ) And also, it actually takes me less time in the morning to style it. My hair is wavy too. I just put a little gel and style it with my fingers. (I'm totally not a hair person normally). So yeah, I think short would look pretty nice on you from what your avatar looks like : D

adding accessories like bright clips and hairbands look good for the summer. A messy bun with curly or wavy bits hanging down looks good for both evening and daytimes. straight or curly hair with a quiff looks good. i have straight/wavy hair and i add bright clips and headbands to my hair and it looks good. How about putting your hair half up half down and back combing the top to make it look like a small beehive and then adding a chunky coloured headband. try looking at celebrities hair styles and getting tips from them. if your going swimming try a fishtail braids they are awesome! I had a pool party and i wore them and they stayed in the entire time (i have layered hair too) and they are really cute as pigtails if ya do them right, otherwise if you cant figure out how then try regular braids in pigtails or french braids. Yes! This is what I do: right out of the shower when hair is still wet, make a tight, low ponytail and secure it with a coated elastic. Brush the hairs straight that stick out of the ponytail. Let it dry, then when you take the ponytail out, the hair will be straight and smooth.

I was wondering if someone could post up some facial hair styles, and maybe suggestions on who it might look on, or what sort of hairstyles it matches or whatever.

Also, I have a fairly wide/thick jaw, but also being kind of overweight, a much steeper neckline than most. Also, since I have red hair (which looks really light/kind of blonde when short), I need advice what kind of "look" to go with. Do I keep it short, giving it move of a "fuzzy" appearance, or opt for something a little thicker, to give it more color? (I've never had a thick beard and, while I'm interested in trying any and everythig, I'm not sure whether it would come out more brown or red)

dont...blowdry or straighten as long as your not naturally curly and brush it messed up let it dry naturally in a soft scrunchy bun make sure it should end up messy and not curly abit wavy maybe..use some volumising sachets or curl defining stuff...you no you can find those 99p or 1.99 sachets of hairproducts there good and just enough for that once

Ask you stylist to feather razor cut your layers to make them spiky and stringy, without affecting the lenght to the shoulders, that will give nice strings that are easy to handle with the right amount of "hair glue " or spray possible. You're hair will rock that way, but remember that longer than the shoulders it will be difficult to make it kind of spark and string for the clean messy look as the hair wieght and lenght will pull it down. This is one of the most honest questions I have come across so I am going to answer it this way.

Most people are really interested in who you are, not your hair. It isn't the most people you need to be concerned about it is the few.

I work for an internet company, it is a young industry and so the rules are a lot less rigid. We have people with tattoos everywhere to the most conservative looking and everything in between.

for older industries or positions where you come into contact with people you need to understand the mindset that goes along with it. I can only talk about my industry.

Competence is really valued by most. The very best in any field can get away with anything (just look at Dennis Rodman) But the rest of us need to work hard to get noticed. And that's where your decision needs to come from.

I don't care, what you have to consider is do you want to be acceptable to the majority of people and be viewed as in line with the acceptable norm or do you want to be someone who is recognized as attempting to be noticed. You ask how someone feels, as I say I don't care but there is the need to meet the public and present yourself in what is considered acceptable so you decide for yourself.

Not a problem in NYC. I work as a recruiting contractor in New York in the marketing field. As long as you look and act professionally your hairstyle is not an issue.

I would imagine as a doctor you might want to keep your hair short, though......couldn't long hair of any style get in the way in a lab, near medical equipment or on rounds? I've had to wear my hair back in some workplaces (like manufacturing sites) because hair can get caught in machinery.

Just keep your look professional and enjoy having your own style.

Strictly from a professional standpoint Think....the cultural norm for those who donn dreds, is that they are pot smokers...it's part of the Rastafarian culture. That is not a good image for a professional person. It makes a statement that may or may not be true. Just as all Jewish people are cheap or all white people are selfish, not true. But the message it sends will most definitely affect the way people relate to you as a helping professional. I have always liked dredlocks, but not on white people. I believe that people should be themselves and not mimic other cultures. Even though they say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery....we should stick to displaying our own culture and not hopping on to someone else's, no matter how cool we think it is. Just my opinion.

Unfortunately, how you look and dress have a lot to do with your career success. If your boss can overlook your hair style, then you are fine. If not, you are screwed.

Same for dressing for casual Friday. A lot of women, and some men nowadays, dress way too casual...tank top, low cut, boot cut, tattoos, flip flop etc. I don't think it will do these men and women any good career wise reminding their bosses that they are really no different than their bastard grandchildren or some street person after all.

I think that dreadlocks that are neat and well groomed are fine and can have a very classy look if you style them right. I think that in addition to being overall well groomed, your intelligence, personality and character need to be the prominent things that people notice about you; that and the fact that you are a very good doctor.

You may experience some disapproval from those who do not understand that just because you have dreads do not mean that you like to smoke a blunt every morning. The truth is, most people do not understand black hair, its texture and the many things that can be done with it because of its texture.

Just use you best judgment. Keep your dreads neat, clean, and well groomed and you should be fine; remember you are more than just your hair and have a lot to offer. That is what is most important.

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.

then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....

you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....

as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!

u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

I bought my GHDs off the internet. They're cheaper than like in hairdressers or something and theyre perfectly fine! They were about 90 odd quid, expensive but cheaper than in the shops!

..Why not try washing your hair on a night? this way you dont have to go to school with wet hair and it'l give you more time to style it? ..Until you get your straighteners why not blow dry your hair straight? ..I put mouse at the top of my hair so when i dry it it has volume in it and then i quickly straighten over it to make it a bit more straight, but its mostly straight just with the hairdryer!

hot rollers! love them! plug them in while you eat, takes like 5 - 10 min to put in then while you do makeup brush teeth leave them in, then take out hair spray and then ready to go! i love them! also sometimes i scrunch it, at nite put ur hair in a bun wet and then in the morning it will be wavy

try some foam rollers, use these too, in the morning they will be really tight depeding on how you do them. but they should relax after a little, or pin some back

If you have someone that can help "dress" your hair in the next 2 months then I would say practice. If you are going to have it done by a professional then choose the person you will have do it and ask that person's opinion early so you will have time to find another person if you don't like the suggestions from the first.

Like you are doing, look around and when possible clip pictures of hair styles, take them with you when you talk to the person that will do your hair. Also if you are going to have it done professionally and talk to the person before hand go in when there are a few people in there. You will get others opinions at the same time for "free". This is an important part of your growing up so make it special.

I like that cut. That's what I'm going for. It's pretty, yet edgy, and there are a million ways you can style it. I'm actually going to try to learn how to get it a little spikey, for when I have those punk days. I'm also going to curl it, blow dry it upside down so it's straight, and use some clips to see what I can come up with. You don't have to get this, obviously, but it would be so much easier to take care of, and style. Also, it would look cute messy.

I would suggest that you shave all of your hair off, to the point where you don't have a stubble. Going bald is not an option, but being bald is. That way if any woman asks about your hair, you can always answer that you used to have it down to your butt, but decided to shave it off because it was a hassle with it being in your face, and etc. I would say, shave your head completely bald, and grow a nice, well manicured goatee. Not too large, but just a nice very well groomed goatee, I think you will be impressed with the outcome of this!

I'm black and i have a big forehead too so I feel your pain. you may want to get some flat twists or braid designs on the left side of your head, then have your bangs straight on the right side. Then have the rest of your hair coming forward and spiral curl it.

also try a bob with the back tapered and asymetrical bangs. i got my hair cut like this and i love it. for the prom though you might want to get it doobie wrapped.

The best way to do a PERFECT messy bun it to put your hair in a poney tail first... then you take a little chunk of that pony tail.. twist it up, and bobbypin it, and you go on with all the chunks of your hair making sure that your overlapping and twisting together. You'll end up haveing about 15 bobby-pins in your hair, but it looks super cute!! :)
